Willie Oteri - beyond jazz, progressive experimental and free jazz Saxophonist, flutist, guitarist, word smith, originally from California, promoting adventurous music in Austin for over 20 years, an international name who now divides his time between Austin Texas and Italy and also has tours in the EU and Japan on his resume. In The course of his career Oteri has performed and recorded with artists such as Tony Levin, J.A. Deane, Giko Pavan, Scott Amendola, Dave Laczko, Stu Hamm, Jerry Marrota, Chris Maresh, Mike Keneally, Brannen Temple, WD-41, Dark Matter Horns, Shrunken Head Shop, Spiral Out and others. He is also the co-host of Monkey Jams created by Christopher Boulet in Padova Italy, the worlds longest free improvisational jam sessions with a standing record of over 45 hours non-stop and is currently in his seventh year monthly residency at Kenny Dorham's Backyard in Austin as host of the Jazz OUTside series. ...

Dave Laczko - trumpet and Steve Mankenberg - drums round out the group. Laczko has been an integral part of Austin's jazz scene for many years including 14 years as a Jazz radio DJ. and 7 years hosting Jazz OUTside. He has also toured and recorded with Willie Oteri in many of the groups listed above. Mankenberg is a sought after drummer in the Austin jazz scene with a with a unique style admired by his peers.
