Sammons Jazz presents the Jaelun Washington Trio and John Adams: Trio Combinations in a salute to two instruments integral to jazz trios - drums and bass. Jaelun on drums is joined by Stefan Karlsson on piano and Jeffry Eckels on bass for a set of classic jazz. With the bass as the lead instrument, John creates different trio ensembles in the second set with Mike Drake on drums, Noel Johnston on guitar, Brad Leali on sax and Eric Willis on piano.
